Simon Cowell Being Hypnotised By A Dog?

Simon Cowell And That Hypnotic Canine..

I was asked by BBC Radio Kent to comment about the recent Britain's Got Talent show with Simon Cowell being hypnotised by a dog.  Sadly I was unable to speak to the show because I was working with a client. However, Simon Cowell, the dog and his owner prove that stage entertainment featuring hypnosis is alive and well!

Do I think Simon Cowell could be hypnotised by a dog?

The answer is simple, if he wanted to be, told himself he could be, and began to believe it then because there was something it for him, he is an entertainer after all with ratings to consider, the answer would be a yes, but this had nothing to do with the dog or his exceptionally long tongue!  From the outset, the owner of the dog was working to get Simon into a frame of mind conducive to being hypnotised.

So all hypnosis is voluntary and in the hands of the person being hypnotised, actually, let me make it clearer all hypnosis is self-hypnosis.  The point is that Simon would have succumbed to any stage hypnotist if he chose to do so.

Hypnosis is a completely natural state,  only a tiny fraction of the population cannot be hypnotised, it works much better with strong minds too.  I think Simon Cowell would be an ideal candidate for hypnosis; with or without the dog.
